Creative portrait photography | Around the Hilton Metropole, London

There’s nothing quite like a trip in to London to inspire some creative portrait photography. On top of that, if you have also just been inspired by the amazing wedding photographer Brett Florens then there’s no excuse for trying something a little different. I really value listening to the experiences and picking up tips from some of the best wedding photographers money can buy and use that to constantly improve my photographic vision for my own clients. That’s one of the things that I love about photography – there’s always something new to push your creativity and test your technical abilities.
So, armed with some off-camera flash and that gorgeous low January London sunshine we managed to pull together a few interesting images from the upper restaurant area of the Hilton London Metropole and the surrounding streets with the very patient Jennifer and Dean. I hope you like them!

Although I’m based in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, distance is really no object. I would love to hear from you if you’d like a photographer for some creative portrait photography or a photoshoot where we can work together to capture the essence of your character. Who knows, if you’re particularly interesting it could be the same thing!
Perhaps you are looking for a family lifestyle photoshoot instead. Perhaps you are an in-love couple wanting to capture some of your ongoing love story right now. If so, then just get in touch and let’s see if we can do something fun and exciting together. It’s quite natural to feel a little camera-shy to start off but you’d be amazed how quickly you really start enjoying yourselves.
You may also be interested to know that I also offer a complimentary engagement photoshoot as part of my Wedding Photography Collections so please get in touch if you might be interested. It’s a really great way to get accustomed to being photographed in a relaxed way, get to know one another and maybe even have a bit of fun!
