I have no idea where our exact location was for this London portrait photography shoot other than we were in a semi-derelict house near Regent’s Canal. I believe it was due for demolition sometime later this year and in the meantime apparently generated a handsome income for the owner as a film set and quirky character. Anyway, it was ideal for us and provided a range of ‘sets’ for the various ideas we wanted to try out. I’m sure that if I ever returned in the future there would be a block of flats in its place so it was good to have the opportunity to use it before that happens.
Nikki, an experienced model and school teacher Geraldine, who stepped in at short notice, were wonderful and came with several changes of clothes for the day. There were several quirky objects around the home but I particularly loved the frog which was so incongruous with the surroundings!
I would love to be considered as your creative London portrait photographer whether it’s for a private intimate photoshoot where we can work together to capture the essence of your character, a family lifestyle photoshoot or you are an in-love couple wanting to capture some of your ongoing love story right now. I’d particularly love to hear from you if you would like an engagement or pre-wedding photoshoot – take a look at Katie & Dan’s and Nandini & Josh’s engagement photoshoot.
I also offer a complimentary engagement photoshoot as part of my Wedding Photography Collections so please get in touch if you might be interested. It’s a really great way to get accustomed to being photographed in a relaxed way, get to know one another and maybe even have a bit of fun!
