32 Amazing Mallorca Wedding Venues to Consider

There are so many fabulous Mallorca wedding venues for couples to consider. From intimate countryside fincas and finca hotels through to superb luxury hotels, and a sprinkling of rather unique venues.

Many of them are in spectacular settings with views across the countryside, mountains or even the Mediterranean.  It’s one of the reasons I love to be a Mallorca wedding photographer shooting in such amazing locations!  You may already have found your dream wedding venue, but if not, here are a few options you might want to check out. Some are perfect as stunning wedding receptions whilst others can accommodate both your weddings and reception.

Planning a wedding from a distance can be quite difficult but can be achieved independently with some help and determination or by using one of the excellent wedding planners based on the island. Whatever you decide, I’m sure you and your wedding guests will have an amazing and memorable experience.

Good luck!

Mallorca Boutique Hotels

Hotel Valldemossa lies on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Valldemossa, not far from La Cartuja.  The village church is about a 10 minute walk away from the hotel if you would like a church wedding.  Alternatively, you can have your wedding ceremony within the grounds of the hotel. One of my absolute favourite Mallorca wedding venues.

Ca’s Xorc is a 5-star boutique hotel located down a windy road among the lemon and olive trees in the Tramuntana Mountains on the coastal road between Soller and Deià.

Hotel Can Verdera is located in one of the most picturesque Mallorcan villages, Fornalutx.  If you prefer a church ceremony, there is a beautiful church situated a short walk away, just above the main square.

Hotel Can Simoneta is a cliff top boutique hotel on the north-east coast of Mallorca close to the town of Canyamel. Unfortunately it’s an adults only venue that may appeal to those wanting a child-free wedding!

Gran Hotel Son Net in the lovely village of Puigpunyent and around 15 minutes from Palma.   It overlooks the valley and has great views towards the Tramuntana Mountains.

Son Brull is a 17th century monastery that has been converted to a boutique 5-star hotel.  It is located near to the village of Pollensa on the north coast of Mallorca.

Finca Son Togores is a beautiful late 19th century finca located in the west of the island not too far from Esporlas and Valldemossa.  It is surrounded by almond, orange, lemon and olive trees with far-reaching views over the surrounding countryside and mountains.  A great place for food connoisseurs as the event catering is all provided by Marc Fosh.

Osa Major is positioned in the hilly central region of the island situated close to Montuiri.  I’ve only recently come across this beautiful rural finca but it looks like it would be great for a boho-style wedding or an intimate wedding with amazing views over the surrounding countryside.

Biniorella is a finca that might suit anyone looking for a venue in the south-west of Mallorca. It is situated close to Andratx and Camp de Mar with views of the southern slopes of the Tramuntana Mountains. This blue shuttered finca can accommodate several hundred guests and has an inner courtyard as well as extensive lawned areas. Probably best to engage one of the excellent Mallorca wedding planners if you are considering this venue.

Son Veri is an absolutely magnificent finca that I recently discovered. It is located close to Valldemossa in one of the most beautiful parts of Mallorca and only 15-20 mins drive from Palma. Refurbished to a high standard, the finca can be rented and provides 6 double en-suite bedrooms (sleeps 12), together with a beautiful pool, tennis court and terraces it would make an absolutely stunning location for a wedding. Recommended!

Rural Mallorca Hotels

Finca Son Miranda is another venue I’ve recently discovered that caters for weddings.  An art hotel set on a tranquil rural estate near Sencelles in the middle of the island. Located around 20 min from Palma, Son Miranda would probably suit a more intimate wedding. There are 12 exclusive rooms influenced by Spanish artists all set within olive groves and vineyards of over 20 acres.

Alaiar is a rural hotel set in the heart of Mallorca not too far from Sencelles with some terrific internal and outdoor spaces for a beautiful wedding. This seems to have become one of the most popular Mallorca wedding venues over recent years.

Agapanto in Port de Sóller is ideal for a wedding reception with a beautiful view over Port de Sóller. Why not arrange for your wedding in the church in the nearby Sóller and take the tram to the Port with your guests?

Unique Mallorca Wedding Venues

Son Marroig with its marble temple spectacularly perched on a cliff top between the villages of Deià and Valldemossa. As a very unique and special place, it’s no surprise that this is one of the most difficult Mallorca wedding venues to hire. You will most likely need to work with an established wedding planner to help.

Jardines de Alfabia can easily be found off the road from Palma to Soller, just before entering the tunnel.  Located in the foothills of the Sierra de Tramuntana and set within fabulous gardens.

La Fortaleza must be the most exclusive of all the Mallorca wedding venues! It’s a beautiful privately owned 17th century villa located on a peninsular overlooking Badia de Pollensa and Puerto de Pollensa on the north of the island. You may recognise it from the popular BBC series The Night Manager. With only very limited opportunities to hire as your luxury wedding venue you will definitely need to work with a very well-connected wedding planner.

Castell de Bellver is the castle you see perched on the hill a few miles west of Palma de Mallorca….and yes, you can get married there! But, you will probably need some help or local knowledge to make the arrangements through the Adjustment de Palma. Castell Bellver is unusual as it’s a circular castle built over several levels surrounding a large central courtyard, and a beautiful view of the surroundings from the top level.

Please get in touch if you would like to consider me as your wedding photographer at these or any other Mallorca wedding venues you are considering. I’d love to hear from you!
